The weapons are the same as in the original title but there was certainly some major balancing and changes to the secondary shots making them more useful (as in the case of the pulse cannon which is now quite useful). During the journey in the story we will be given secondary objectives that we can complete as we unlock access to the different sections of the Ishimura.
