Because I am developer my IDE is more important for me than the OS and that means that shortcuts of the OS must go away or be changed. And I want to concentrate on different things than to learn again shortcuts I am used to use. You can re-lean a shortcut or two but it's hard to change your habits completely after years of coding in IntelliJ Idea. Well, it's a real problem, your muscle memory can be a tough beast. I've tried creating 'custom keymaps' and that has also failed. I've tried synchronizing settings through a git repository, and I've tried exporting and importing settings. If I set up a keyboard shortcut for 'Split Vertical' as '^S,V' in WebStorm, I then have to go assign it manually in Rider, DataGrip, RubyMine, AppCode, PHPStorm, and P圜harm.
