Apparently AOL has triggered some sort of password update thing Have the settings been changed again, or is this some kind of glitch at AOL email? Anyone else having this problem? Also I think, but my memory is hazy, that info is OLD and was changed a few years ago to what I am using now, which I was only able to find out about thx to help on this forum in the old thread I mentioned above.

I found this AOL page now googling around which says to use these settings belowīut trying that it does the same thing as my setting above. The settings I have been using with no problems for the last couple years (thx to this forum) are: Each time I have been able to get help up here in a thread which now has been locked for inactivity called 'Verizon Email Transition to AOL's Servers' (so I am trying to ask here in a new thread).

In the past couple years the times something like this has happened is because there was some kind server issue at AOL that they had to fix (eventually) OR their POP mail settings changed but there was no announcement discussing that that I knew of.

Starting tonight (just worked a few days ago) I can only receive email but cannot send.

Is anyone here using POP email on their PC and having problems SENDING email via their Verizon email accounts?
